Spring break!!

So far this week has been great!! I love having time off and spending time with Olivia and Charlie. Today we took a trip to my grandmas for lunch and then to the science museum :). Charlie absolutely loved it, Olivia liked it too, but she was more excited about the gift shop. Grandma Jo gave her a couple of dollars to spend :D.

Olivia was very curious about the displays at the museum. She couldn't figure out why they would want fake water and not real water to make the displays. She was very good about holding Charlie's hand and making sure we all stayed together. When we first got there Charlie asked if we were going to see semis there...lol!! When we got into the exhibits, he LOVED the dinosaurs and all of the animal skeletons. At one point he looked at me and said "mom, dad should be here. He would really like this stuff." Every time he would see something new he would say "holy macaroni." When we were finished with the exhibits we visited the gift shop and Olivia picked out a bag of rocks and Charlie picked out a package of fake worms. They were SO happy!

BIG BOY!!

It is about time!!!  Charlie is officially a big boy :)

No more diapers for the Babler House!!!  

Last Wednesday Charlie had no intentions of using the toilet.  We have been trying to train him for months.  On Thursday our daycare provider decided to let him go "commando" for the day and that is all it took.  He has been doing awesome and we are so proud of him.  As soon as the weather cooperates and Jesse's schedule goes back to normal, Charlie gets to go to work with Jesse to ride in a skid loader and then visit the John Deere store to pick out a toy.  He is so excited :)

Snow Day!!

I love getting a 5:30 wake up call from the school...SNOW DAY!!!

Get Lucky 7K Race

Jesse and I (along with some of my high school friends) participated in the Team Ortho Get Lucky 7K Race in the cities today.  It was awesome.  Very, very cold, but once we were running, it was fun.  

Jesse did AMAZING!!  he placed 24th out of 9800 finishers (11,000 registered).  The crazy part of it all was that Jesse worked all night with the snow, so he was going on no sleep.  I am so proud of him. I was way far behind him but I beat last years time by almost 5 minutes, which made me really happy.  I shaved over a minute off of each mile.  

Fun Times and I can't wait for the next one!

Haha, Charlie asked me if I had a baby in my tummy And I said no mommy can't have babies anymore and Olivia says "yes you can, just ask God" Charlie's response was "we can't ask God, he is busy at work." He was so serious, too cute :)

Dazzlers dance camp

This week Olivia participated in a dance camp. She performed on Tuesday night at the boys basketball game. It was short but cute :). She even had some special visitors and Charlie was so curious watching all the girls together and he loved watching the boys play basketball.
