Hat Day

So not the best picture...I only was able to take one with my phone, but here you go. She was a Cowgirl with all the accessories. She had the hat, the shirt, the belt and the boots, and I must not forget the Horse Watch. She is definitely a "Horsey-Grandpa's" Girl :)

Stay tuned for more pictures...we still have hat day, mismatch day, pajama day, and school spirit day!! Lots of Fun to come!!

Candy Drawer!

So Charlie has discovered the candy drawer, and has been trying to get into it a lot lately. This morning I was on my way to get him, because I could hear him digging in it and I went to look and he was IN the drawer. It was too funny, we of course had to leave him in there for a minute to get a picture. He wasn't too happy, but hopefully it will teach him a lesson :)

Puppy

Charlie's new word is "Puppy" and it sounds so stinking cute :)
You may need to turn your volume up to hear him
This book is one of his favorites and he has a stuffed puppy from the heart doctor that he loves. The first thing he did today when he woke up was ask for his puppy!!

Church Picnic

Today was our Church's annual Pig Roast Picnic. We enjoyed some great food and the kids loved the fire truck, tractors, and K-9 Police demonstration. Grandma Ruth tagged along with us. We didn't stay for the big raffle drawing, but by now I am assuming we were not the lucky winners or we would have heard by now.

Here is an attempt at a family picture...this was the best of 3 :)

The Kids loved the fire truck :)

Visit with Grandma Gladys!

This afternoon my dad and I took the kids to visit my Grandma for the first time in her new home. On the first of the month, my aunts and uncles and my dad had to move my Grandma into a memory care unit at the local Senior Apartments. A few years ago she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and it has finally got to the point where she could no longer live on her own. She is adjusting well considering she absolutely did not want to move out of her house. It is a beautiful place that is pretty spacious.
(If you can't tell in the picture...Olivia did her own hair for the occasion)

Charlie's First Day of ECFE

Tonight Charlie had his first day of ECFE and he loved every minute of it. He did so well drinking out of a big cup. He loved all of the toys and even managed to find the chalk that Ms. Sara hid (little stinker). He also really enjoyed being able to play on the playground. He will go to school 2 times a month until the end of the school year.

It is about time...

It has been so long since my last post...so sorry, we just have been super busy. The last weeks of August and the first weeks of September are very crazy in our house with the start of the school year. So here is a wrap up of our last days of summer.

We went and visited Jesse's Grandma Joan and some other family at a campground. Olivia loved playing on the playground and of course Charlie didn't want to sit still. Jesse was at a snowmobile show for the weekend so we were very busy without him.

We went to the Splash pad again with Hannah and Talia and my friend Megan and her kids. Olivia stayed on the playground almost the whole time while Charlie of course enjoyed the water.

I love this one of Charlie. It is a perfect image of how he is...always on the go!

The only picture I got of Olivia because she just loves to play on the equipment.

Right before Jesse's grandparents left to back to Texas, we went up to his aunt and uncles to hang out with them. Olivia enjoyed coloring next to Lucille and Charlie enjoyed looking like a big boy in the chair and on the picnic table with Daddy and Papa

More pics to come soon...that is all for tonight :)
