Christmas :)

As always, I was horrible with pictures, but here are a few. I had to include the one of our Niece Ily in the box because it is so stinking cute :).

Charlie is all done with his surgery. Now on to the recovery. He is doing pretty well, but really hates his IV.

Extra prayers...

Tomorrow Charlie goes in to have his tonsils, adenoids, and another tube put in. It is a very routine surgery, but of course, I am a nervous wreck. I know he will be fine, but I dread taking him into the operating room holding his hand while he is put under. I have handled it 2 other times, but knowing this time it will be a bit longer is tough :(. Anyways, extra prayers for fast healing would be greatly appreciated. I will try to post after it is complete tomorrow. As for now, extra cuddles with mom and dad. Olivia gets to have a sleepover with grandma Ruth tonight, so she is over the top excited :)

Wheels Week

Christmas lights

Olivia has been wanting Christmas lights on the house for a long time. Today Jesse and her put the lights up on the house. She was so excited that she got to help :)

Charlie's new haircut

Charlie's hair grows super fast so I decided to give him his first buzz cut :). So here it is...

Olivia's conference

Olivia had an awesome conference. We are so proud of her. She has made so much progress in all areas. One of favorite things to do is write stories. Here is a cute story that she wrote about her and her cousin Owen.

First grade crush!!

Haha...Olivia has a little crush in one of her classmates and while eating supper tonight we noticed this on the fridge.

Football!!

On Thursday we took the kids to metrodome to watch the football team. This was Charlie's first trip there. He loved it and kept talking about how he is going to play football. He really liked when the players kicked the ball. We did find out that we don't think he is quite ready for twins games anytime soon. He got pretty antsy before half time. At his age Olivia would watch an entire twins game and get mad when it was over :)

I wish I could have gotten a picture of the two of them with their matching shirts, but Olivia spent most of the time with her friends from school.

Boys and their toys

He is just like his daddy. One is just not enough. All he wants for Christmas are bobcats, tractors (John Deere of course), and shovels!!

Olivia's first grade concert.

Olivia had so much fun on Thursday at her First grade concert. It was really cute. It was hard to get pictures but here is what we were able I get.

Every time Charlie attempts singing his ABCs, he ends up say "up in the Apple Tree."  Such a goof...

Halloween Fun!!

Here are some pictures of the kids carving pumpkins and then Trick or Treating.  Olivia and Charlie were Superman and Superwoman and Jack was a yellow submarine :)  Jack is so funny.  When I asked the kids for a picture, he immediately walks over and sits next to them.  He cracks me up some times!!

 

100 percent boy

This is what Charlie decided to do while he was supposed to be napping!! I first took a picture of him "fixing" and then he had to turn to get a big "cheese" in which I think really meant "mom...I am so cute you couldn't possibly be mad at me."

Today I completed my first 10 mile run!! Our neighbor Joalah ran with me.

16 months ago I couldn't even run a mile, so pumped that I finished 10. Next year my goal is to complete it about 7 minutes faster. My feet were in pretty sore by mile 7. They are still not 100% since the 3-Day walk in August.

Hahaha!!

The other day Olivia came up to me and said "I am Michelle Bachmann and I approve this message."  I was laughing so hard.  I listen to Pandora a lot and there were a lot of political ads playing.  Apparently that one really stuck...

A visit to Jesse's work

Charlie was in heaven!! We stopped to visit Jesse yesterday at his work and he was SO excited to sit in a Bobcat. That is all he talked about yesterday!!

Fun Run!!

Olivia had her Fun Run this morning and thankfully I was able to quickly go watch her run. Also a big thanks to grandpa John for coming to watch :).
